**GROUNDSKEEPER/PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - OTTAWA, ON**

Reporting to the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician will oversee and initiate maintenance and general repairs for the properties and fulfill the company's responsibilities to our residents in the Albion Sun Vista, Albion Woods, Bellwood Estates and Rockhaven communities.

**This is a full-time permanent position. Day shift, Monday to Friday. You will require a valid G-class driver’s license as travel between the properties will be necessary. Flexibility to work on weekends is an asset.**

**The Job**:
The main responsibilities of the job will be maintaining the gardens, lawns in the common areas, upkeep and cleaning of facilities on the properties, meter reading of residences and preventative maintenance on equipment and infrastructure components. You will also be responsible for helping with property improvements and assisting various team members, as required.

As an onsite representative of our company, you will work collaboratively with customers, vendors, and employees at the property level. You will also interact frequently with the Property Manager who will provide mentorship and coaching. There will be plenty of opportunity to collaborate with others in our large network of property operations professionals, as well as cross functionally with other departments at Parkbridge.

**Tools I use**
- For communication purposes, you will be using company technology including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams and other technology
- Maintenance equipment including, riding and push mowers, tractors, and various hand and power tools.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role
- Must have a valid G-class driver’s license
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis
- Must be available for sewer, water, and property emergencies outside normal operating hours (infrequent)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in the hotel or campground industry or building maintenance background.
- Knowledge of water/wastewater issues, minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
