Who you are
Are you a passionate leader? Are you effective at building and fostering relationships? Do you love to bring new and innovative ideas to improve office operations? We are looking for an Manager, Brokerage Support Services to join our regional leadership team. This role will partner with a managing director to manage the day-to-day operating and administrative requirements for our brokerage business in Vancouver. You are passionate about operations, delivering service excellence and driving the ongoing development of a sales performance culture.
This role will oversee all components of the local office operations including all people administrative duties, budgeting and financial management. You are great at establishing and maintaining effective relationships. You succeed in a fast-paced environment and can effectively handle stressful situations. You have a passion for success and bring a positive attitude to support those around you to achieve the overall business goal.
What you bring- A minimum of 3 to 5 years proven leadership as a people manager in a professional services or sales environment- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in marketing.- Results driven, goal oriented.- Ability to troubleshoot problems that are complex which may involve a variety of stakeholders.- Understands the interdependency issues of a large company.- Role model, conscientious, reliable, and flexible.- High degree of professionalism and passion for success.- Strong communications and consensus building skills.- Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skill.-
- Exposure and a solid understanding of process engineering, design and measurement.
What success looks like-
- You will act as a central point of contact for Brokerage Project Specialists with general questions on day-to-day process and tools- You will assist with updating existing onboarding training plan and materials- You will assist with coordination and/or execution of monthly learning sessions- You will attend Training Champions meetings to share & exchange information, success and challenges-
- You will test any new systems or tools; Develop QRG; Share knowledge- You will work on projects to improve process and knowledge within the department- You will participate in future Leadership Development Program at Colliers- You will work to increase communication and collaboration amongst the team- You will have the opportunity to grow to into a management position- You will develop positive and collaborative relationships with Managing Directors and Advisors to ensure a common understanding of objectives while being a strong advocate for your team.
