The Payroll Administrator will report to the Controller.

Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of semi-monthly payrolls. In addition, this role will include Accounts Receivable duties, responding to client inquiries, and assisting with light accounting tasks. The Payroll Administrator will work alongside the Payroll/Accountant Supervisor.

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Manage semi-monthly payroll for over 200+ salaried and hourly employees.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
- Review timesheets and work hours, daily, for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare payroll entries, and calculate EHT and WCB remittances.
- Maintain and update monthly reports for management.
- Reconcile year-end reporting, including completing annual T4 slips.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable collections and customer payments.
- Process expense reports and petty cash reimbursements.
- Assist with external audits and regulatory reporting.
- Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.
- Sorting monthly customer statements.

**What You Will Need**
- A minimum of 3+ years of payroll experience.
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles.
- PCP not required, but would be an asset.
- Experience with Ceridian considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Excel, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Products.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize and time-manage.
- Impeccable accuracy with numbers and high attention to detail.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to write clear, concise and formal business communications.
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion and to be entrusted with confidential information.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Proven experience in identifying and implementing process improvements is an asset.
