The chicken business is growing, and so is Chicken Farmers of Ontario **Office and Administration Assistant (Part-time)** The Chicken Farmers of Ontario (CFO) Office and Administration Assistant will be required to perform an array of administrative duties including secretarial and receptionist duties. This role also supports the CFO team to ensure office continuity and board members with meeting support for board meetings, committee, working groups meetings and district community representative meetings. **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES** **1. Office Reception** - Answer and direct general inquiries both at front reception and through telecommunication sources - Process all outgoing mail items, including preparing packages for mail to be couriered - Prepare visitor name badges - Maintain staff contact list **2. Office Administration** - Order office supplies and kitchen consumables as required - Assist in managing facilities maintenance. Point of contact for heating/air conditioning issues - Order business cards and name tags as required - Oversee maintenance providers while on site ie: repair technicians, Shred-it, Swan Mats etc. - Coordinate significant staff associate events, i.e., strategic planning sessions, staff celebrations etc. - Monitor and maintain common areas (kitchen, servery, file rooms, reception) - Monitor and maintain office equipment, i.e. photocopiers, etc. - Conduct farmer phone campaign calls as required **3. Board Support** - Build relationships with Board, DCR’s and Board Committees and internal and external stakeholders. - Assist Assistant Board Secretary to coordinate meeting arrangements for all Board & DCR events, inclusive of sourcing location, calendar invitations, room set-up, catering, audio-visual requirements, name badges, on-site support where necessary - Liaise with hotels to book meeting rooms, hotel rooms, catering etc. - Organize catering for internal meetings - Track industry events and provincial AGMs. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** **Education**: College Diploma in Office or Business Administration **Experience**: 2+ years Customer Service or Office Administration **Technical Skills** - Microsoft Office Suite - Adobe Software - Video conferencing software ie.
