Sales Support Specialist

Scintica is a growing London, Ontario based company, operating in the biotechnology research space. Our mission is to link scientists with the right research solutions and instruments they need to advance research.
At Scintica we are committed to advancing science by bringing new and interesting products to preclinical labs and assisting scientists with implementing these technologies into their research protocols. Our products include imaging modalities such as ultrasound, PET/CT, MRI, bioluminescence/fluorescence, DEXA, photoacoustic, and intra-vital microscopy. We also offer physiological monitoring devices to measure blood flow velocity, tissue oxygenation, and microvascular function, as well as a selection of equipment and supplies for cellular and molecular biology.
This person will report directly to the VP Sales & Marketing, but will work very closely with the entire Sales Team, as well as the Finance & Administration Team.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Update customer records in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system;
- Respond to initial inquiries and send quotes for certain products within our portfolio;
- Record Product Managers’ opportunities in CRM and complete related forms;
- Schedule follow up action items and calls for the Product Managers;
- Enter customer purchase orders into relevant system(s);
- Prepare and send order acknowledgements to customers;
- Assist in the shipping process, including communications with freight carriers, brokers, customs and customers;
- Maintain customer warranty information in relevant system(s);
- Assist with maintaining pricing sheets and ensuring product database in CRM is up-to-date;
- Ensure an excellent customer experience for all customers (following up to ensure information has been received by customers, regular follow up for those not responsive, chasing down orders, etc.);
- Assist with quarterly reports (pulling data from CRM, formatting in PPT file);
- Assist VP Sales & Marketing with adhoc tasks.
