**This position reports to Senior Manager, ACC**
**Responsibilities**:
- Recruit, hire, and develop team members into knowledgeable and effective credit analysts.
- Identify positive and negative trends and providing timely feedback and recommendations to the Senior Manager, Non-Prime Credit
- Demonstrate flexibility in allocation of resources to meet or exceed key business unit performance metrics such as SLAs, approval ratios, book to look, productivity, and compliance.
- Acting as the escalation point for District Managers, Dealers, or Analysts for issues exceeding the capabilities or responsibilities of the Senior Analyst.
- Have a finger on the pulse of the team, be proactive and respond to employee issues or concerns.
- Provide continuous and effective coaching to achieve targets and maximize performance relative to established metrics.
- Lead team huddles and group meetings to communicate housekeeping updates, calibration issues, and consistency items.
- Balance the need to mitigate risk with the need to develop and grow mutually profitable relationships with our Dealer Partners.
- Manage relationships and lead discussions with Dealer partners and customers regarding credit decisions.
- Actively participate and/or lead departmental initiatives and action plans.
- Work flexible hours with regular noon to 8pm shifts and occasional Saturdays.
**Qualifications**:
- 3 - 5 years of related work experience in a leadership role within a non-prime credit lending environment
- Recognized ability to motivate, lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to make sound decisions and solve problems.
- Self-starter with thorough, strong research, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Active experience liaising with Dealers and internal partners while handling the Non-Prime Credit Portfolio.
- Excellent time management skills, sense of organization and ability to set priorities.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of the customer business and credit risk environment.
- Strong computer operational skills with advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to work harmoniously in a team as well as independently.
- Customer focused drive to succeed and win in a very competitive market.
- Bilingualism (English/French) would be an asset.
