**Abode Professional Cleaning Service** is seeking professional cleaners/household maintenance attendants in Halifax and Dartmouth who are dedicated to providing our exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization to help us serve our growing client base in the HRM. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for working independently and in teams of 2 or more, performing a variety of cleaning tasks with meticulous attention to detail, efficiency, and professionalism. Our company serves weekly + bi-weekly residential clients, as well as serving clients who require post-construction cleaning and one-time deep cleaning (move-in/move-out cleans). As our team at Abode grows, we are committed to pairing our staff with the same recurring clients in order for our staff and clients to form a trusting relationship and to better attend to the finer details of maintaining the homes in our care. For that reason, reliability and consistency of work quality is a must.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, and deep cleaning inside appliances.
- Lift or move furniture as necessary to clean behind and underneath.
- Communicate effectively with clients, demonstrating professionalism, positivity, and excellent customer service skills.
- Maintain punctuality and reliability by arriving promptly to scheduled cleaning appointments.
- Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining our high standards of quality.

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks that may involve moving

furniture (ie pulling a couch away from the wall to vacuum behind and beneath)
- **Must own a reliable vehicle** for transportation to and from cleaning appointments.
- Must have a cell phone for communication with clients and scheduling purposes.
- Must have a criminal record check completed within the last 6 months.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions and complete checklists.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, professional demeanor.
- Previous experience in professional cleaning, hospitality or service industry, or health + wellness preferred but not required

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability to accommodate varying cleaning schedules, particularly on weekdays (occasionally including weekends).

Pay: $20.00 per hour
