**Job Summary**
As a junior Pool Technician, you will be working with senior employees to complete daily tasks related to the service of swimming pools. These tasks include but not limited to, the opening and closing of pools, pump and filter installations/repair, installation of replacement liners, leaks and maintenance.
You will play an important role in learning and ensuring that pools are maintained and operational to the best of your ability, so out customers can have a worry free summer of fun.
Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, knowledge of basic tools and punctuality will aid us in providing excellent customer service and reputation. You will serve as a point of communication and contact with customers in providing service requests and troubleshooting.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform regular maintenance on swimming pools, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspection.
- Daily servicing of swimming pools as required.
- Utilize hand and power tools as required to complete your tasks.
- Dig and irrigate areas around pools for leaks.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of jobs completed and customer requests.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool equipment and perform necessary repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in and around pool areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules and any required repairs.
- Ensure all work is performed to high standards with respect to customers property.
**R**equirements
- Previous experience in pool service is preferred, but training is available.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge related to pool systems..
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is important.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.

- Valid G drivers license
- Physical ability

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Swimming Pool: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
