**Position Description**

Greenpoint is looking for a LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE LABOURER to join our team FULL-TIME.

While we’ve been around a while, we’re not one of the ‘big guys’, and we’re totally okay with it We run a small crew and we’re hoping to recruit someone who is reliable, happy working independently and with others, and shares a similar ‘get the job done’ attitude. Someone who enjoys the outdoors and physical work...we like what we do

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform maintenance tasks, including: lawn cutting, weeding, minor pruning, edging garden beds, identifying plant material, and removing green waste or debris
- Demonstrate safe and efficient operation, care, and maintenance of tools, equipment and vehicles
- Operate an array of small equipment and power tools
- Be familiar with proper lawn maintenance and pruning techniques
- Keep a professional appearance and be courteous when interacting with clients
- Perform other maintenance duties as instructed by the Owner/Operator/Foreman

**REQUIRED**:

- Completion of Secondary School
- A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Capable of heavy lifting (60lbs)
- Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
- Rain gear and steel-toed boots (all other safety equipment is supplied)

*Work experience in landscaping, horticulture, or gardening is an asset (not a necessity).

**Hours**: Full-time, Monday to Friday (7:30am - 3:30pm), with some flexibility. _Summer weekend shifts are available, however, not required._

**Compensation**: Our wages are competitive and negotiated based on experience.
