O2E Brands is looking for a Paralegal to join our growing, tight-knit team. As the nexus between legal and the rest of our business, you will help support our Franchise Partners in realizing their dream of small business ownership.

For this role’s duty and responsibility, we anticipate that you will be in the office Tuesday through Thursday, every other week.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**:

- Attend all aspects of franchising including documenting franchise sales, renewals and mapping.
- As part of the legal department, prepare Franchise Disclosure Documentation and assist with corporate and litigation filings
- Interpret and draft various agreements, operations manuals, and other policies.
- Attend to enforcement of franchise rules including drafting and circulating notices of default.
- Attend to trademark enforcement by drafting cease and desist letters.
- Responsible for all electronic and traditional filings of the legal department.
- Responsible for communication with franchise partners.
- Assist with various projects of the legal department.
- Maintain corporate records and various filings.

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**:

- Paralegal Diploma or Certification.
- Litigation paralegal experience.
- US Franchise Paralegal experience a strong asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organization and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Tech-savvy and experience using Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn about Canadian, US, & Australian franchise documentation and disclosure requirements.

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**
- Salary $67,000 - $76,000 k per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
