**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal service, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Help with inventory management by labeling and storing food items properly.
- Support the cooking staff during peak hours by preparing additional ingredients as needed.
- Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with meal preparation processes within the food industry will be beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in a collaborative team environment is highly valued.
