We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Principal Presales Security Expert**to elevate our success in Eastern Canada by driving large-scale opportunities, mentoring technical teams, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

**Principle Presales Security Expert, you will**:
**Strategic Leadership in Large Opportunities**:

- Lead and oversee complex presales engagements, ensuring best practices and increasing win rates for large enterprise and public sector deals.
- Provide expert-level guidance on RFP responses, technical proposals, and customer presentations to enhance the competitiveness of Fortinet’s solutions.
- Collaborate with account teams across Eastern Canada to develop tailored security solutions that meet customer needs.
- Drive strategic engagements with top accounts to expand Fortinet’s presence and market share.

**Mentorship and Technical Development**:

- Act as a mentor and coach for PreSales Security Experts (SEs), fostering skill development and technical expertise across the team.
- Develop and maintain technical resources, such as best practice guides and proof-of-concept (PoC) templates, to support SEs in their engagements.

**Risk Mitigation & Business Continuity**:

- Serve as a key escalation point for complex presales scenarios and technical challenges.
- Support the SE organization by providing backup assistance in high-priority engagements, ensuring business continuity.
- Work closely with SE Managers to balance workload distribution and mitigate risks in large opportunities.

**Collaboration & Industry Expertise**:

- Partner with internal stakeholders, including sales, Business Development engineers, Consulting Systems Engineers and technical support, to ensure seamless customer engagement.
- Develop and deliver custom technical content tailored to specific customer verticals (e.g., public sector, enterprise, healthcare, education).

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **10+ years of experience**in technical presales, cybersecurity, or network security roles, with a focus on large and complex deals.
- Strong expertise in security technologies, including **NGFW, VPN, IPS, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, SASE, Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP), Network Access Control, SIEM, and XDR**.
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and security principles**:TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, DNS, HTTP, TLS, IPSec, PKI, MFA, SSL Decryption**.
- Proven ability to **design and present security architectures**for enterprise and public sector customers.
- Experience leading and responding to RFPs, with strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively coach and mentor technical teams in both technical and business acumen.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience; relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISA, FCSS) are a plus.Bilingual (French and English)
