Operations Finance Administrator

**The NFCD Operations Finance Clerk is responsible for the financial and operational transactions at the company. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing and processing all Plant and Maintenance Purchase Orders, Accounts Payable/Receivable and act as finance support for the NFCD team, specifically with regard to plant activities. The Finance Clerk should be able to analyze and interpret accounting information and be a confident self-starter taking the lead on supplier relations.**
**Responsibilities/Accountabilities**
**Responsibilities**:
- Transact and issue/control all purchase orders for Plant and Maintenance supplies and equipment
- Maintain supplier contact lists
- Prepare reports and analyze plant usage to improve pricing structure
- Accounts Payable support in completing 3-way match, investigating and resolving issues
- Inventory reconciliations and assist/participate in the closing of the end of the month;
- Participate in the monthly physical inventories;
- Participate in the preparation of annual budgets;
- Produce various reports as needed;
- Invoicing of Production Runs to Customers based on contracts
- Customer correspondence in regards to financials
- Identify opportunities and sources of improvement and make recommendations;
- Perform other related duties.
**Job-Related Skills**
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in accounting, administration or equivalent training;
- Have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Strong communication skills, confident and assertive
- Very good command of Excel;
- Knowledge of financial software
- Good sense of organization and planning;
- Ability to multitask independently or in a team;
- Ability to process information quickly within tight deadlines.
**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
