We have an opening for a Steel Rule Die Maker in Markham Ontario. This person will report to the General Manager. The company has 40+ years of experience producing cutting dies for customers in Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operating bench grinder
- Operating table saw
- Operating belt sander
- Operating the steel bridging machine
- Bending steel with auto bending machine & hydraulic bender
- Cutting & gluing rubber to die boards
- Packaging dies to prepare them for shipping

Skills Required:

- Mechanically inclined and likes to work with their hands
- Interested to learn new skills such bending and machine operator
- Ability to operate automated equipment
- Comfortable working with power tools, band saw, sander & grinder
- Some heavy lifting required
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Works well in a group
- Responsible, punctual & overall positive attitude

**Experience**:

- Shop floor experience is an asset
- Knowledge of machine shop safety protocols is an asset
