**Full job description**
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the dentist in all dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Take X-rays and perform radiographic procedures as required
- Carry out additional dental assisting duties as needed
- Provide exceptional patient care, maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment
- Adhere to all infection control and sterilization protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks when necessary
- Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
- Stay updated with current dental practices and industry trends
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a dental office
- Certified Dental Assistant with HARP Certification
- Completion of dental assisting education
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Possess a positive attitude and a friendly demeanour
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
- Ability to take initiative and work independently when required
Additional Considerations:
- Experience working as a dental receptionist will be considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to accommodate additional hours or fill in for colleagues when needed
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
