**WHO IS REAL?**

Situated in the heart of Regina, the **Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL)** District is the largest interconnected event complex in Canada and is the centre of sport, business, and entertainment for the community. REAL is a not-for-profit municipal corporation, governed by a Board of Directors, that acts as a steward of all assets on the 100-acre property which is owned by the City of Regina. Our history is long standing and began in 1884 when an enthusiastic group of people organized Regina’s first ever agricultural fair.

Since then, we have played host to events large and small and over the years, our main signature events were formed: Queen City Ex, Canadian Western Agribition, Canada’s Farm Show, FROST, and Truth and Reconciliation Day. We are the proud home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Regina Pats, Futbol Club Regina, University of Regina Cougars Hockey, Hockey Regina, and many other recreational sports, concerts, tradeshows, conferences and conventions of all shapes and sizes. **THE OPPORTUNITY AWAITS YOU**

We are looking for individuals who are energetic and personable to create exceptional experiences for everyone that enters any venue on campus. We have one part time block available, target shift of working 11:00am to 3:00pm, 20-30 hours per week with no defined end date for the block. Shift start & stop times and scheduled days may be adjusted during course of employment, based on operational requirements.

Serving as the first point of contact on visitors and guests to the campus, the Guest Services Representative will be expected to greet and assist visitors, answers questions, provide direction and appropriate information. This position will perform a variety of administrative/clerical tasks, as assigned. Situated in some of the campus’ highest traffic areas, the Guest Service Representative also assists guest and staff with event-related calls, incident resolution, events, and general concerns.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Present a positive and professional image to all guests, suppliers, inquiries, and other persons.
- Troubleshooting and/or escalating guest issues as required.
- Proactively address guest needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information regarding the campus and surrounding areas. Never avoiding a guest or leaving a question unanswered.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in guests/customer service in forward-facing industries is considered an asset.
- Experience in cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
- Working knowledge of computers and must be comfortable with Excel; Proficient typing skills.
- Ability to work conscientiously with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment where there are often multiple demands.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.

- Note that this position is an in-scope position under the RWDSU Collective Agreement.
