This is a new, permanent position for a motivated and collaborative fundraising professional with strong writing skills, project coordination experience, and a keen understanding of both the non-profit and government funding landscape.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Grant Writing & Coordination _
- Research and identify prospective grants from foundations, government bodies, and corporate funders.
- Develop compelling proposals and letters of intent that clearly align with funder priorities.
- Maintain a grant calendar, funder database, and track reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather input, financial data, and impact stories
- Public Procurement & Bidding _
- Monitor procurement opportunities and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from municipalities, as well as provincial and federal entities.
- Prepare competitive bids and coordinate internal documentation and timelines.
- Support the development of service contracts and government-funded project proposals.
- Fund Development Strategy & Donor Engagement _
- Contribute to a comprehensive funding strategy that includes grants, service-based revenue, and donations.
- Support relationship-building with funders and interest holders through proposals, reports, and impact storytelling.
- Assist in identifying new strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and revenue streams.

**Desired Skills and Abilities**
- Excellent written communication, with the ability to translate ideas into clear, persuasive narratives.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and project-based budgeting.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proactive and collaborative, comfortable working in a small, remote team.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, reconciliation, and inclusive community development.
- Comfort with cloud-based tools such as Microsoft, Airtable, or CRM platforms.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- A university degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in grant writing, public sector proposal coordination, or fund development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead successful grant or procurement submissions.
- Experience engaging with equity-deserving communities and funders.
- Knowledge of BC’s housing, planning, or community development ecosystem is an asset.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities or cultural safety training is a strong asset. New employees commit to completing employer-paid Indigenous cultural safety training within 6 months of hiring.

- A permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours/week).
- Annual salary range: $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience.
