The Cleaner works to ensure and contribute to the efficient operation of the production and shipping of product at MDC.
- Operate Walkie, Counterbalance, Reach and Zamboni
- Safely, accurately and efficiently pick customer orders as per pick slips or as directed by WMS system
- Ensure finished pallets of product, cases or skids are properly wrapped prior to loading it onto a trailer
- Ensure all driving safety rules are adhered to in the Warehouse
- Rotate stock as required and keep immediate area clean.
- Complete in detail, at the beginning of each shift, a Fork truck/Walkie safety checklist.
- Ensure pedestrian pathways are not blocked with product
- Inform supervisor and document any fork truck/walkie malfunctions.
- Keep fork truck clean and in good appearance.
- Change battery in fork truck when necessary.
- Immediately pick up and clean up any spills that occur.
- Performs any other duties as reasonably assigned by supervisor.
- Comply with all sanitation requirements
- Ensure NSF/GDP cleaning protocols are actioned.
- All other related tasks

**Shifts**:

- Guaranteed full time position with 40 hours a week.

Starting $24.43 per hour.
- Premiums: Afternoon 0.75 ¢/hour, Night - 0.85¢/hour

**Qualifications**
- Applicant must have demonstrated the following in their current position:

- Sound work ethic
- Good work performance
- Good attendance record
- Applicant must work in a professional, timely and efficient manner.
- Applicant must be able to perform all aspects of the job.
- Applicant must have excellent written, oral and communication skills.
- Applicants must be able to pass Walkie/Forklift certification
- Applicant must at all times comply with Health and Safety policies including personal protective equipment (PPE), Good Distribution Practices (GDP) Requirements.
- Ability to operate a walkie or reach truck is an asset
- Basic ability to communicate in English
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset
