**About the Role**

The US Tax Analyst plays an active role in the delivery of tax compliance and planning engagements, meeting expectations for budget, time frame and quality. This role is a full-time contract position.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Preparing Canadian and US personal income tax returns, forms and related filings.
- Performing technical research and preparing tax correspondence in connection with Canada Revenue Agency and Internal Revenue Service notices and related requests.
- Providing support for team members on tax related matters for all personal tax clients.
- On an ongoing basis, identify opportunities for additional Rise services with existing clients and proactively move the opportunity forward within the firm as required.

**Required Experience, Qualifications and Characteristics**:

- Undergraduate degree in an accounting program.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a public practice accounting environment.
- Familiarity with Canadian and/or US personal income tax.
- Experience with CCH ProSystems Fx and Tax Prep software is considered an asset.
- Self-starter, someone eager to take initiative in their role.
- Multi-tasker and can manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) - and commitment to maintaining an open, transparent dialogue with colleagues and clients.
- ‘One Team’ mindset - openness to collaborate with all colleagues and bring positive energy to the team.

**Annual Salary Range**:$65,000 - $75,000

**Contract Duration**:From January 2026 to end of June 2026
