Overview
- Reporting to the General Manager, the Central Reservations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Wilderness Properties and Membership Department through Central Reservations.

Embrace new challenges:

- Manages daily transactions and reservations with regards to Wilderness Properties
- Ensure wilderness hostel beds are properly allocated, reports generated, and openings/closings communicated
- Fill and ship other HI products such as Parks Canada passes, Wilderness Seasons Passes, Packages, and others as requested
- Provide excellent customer service by evaluating the needs of each customer and adapting the service to meet those needs
- Supports Central Reservations by covering phones, data entry or other tasks as needed
- Train and support CRS Agents on wilderness procedures and membership products and procedures
- Creating a positive impression of HI over the phone and in written communications, by establishing a positive relationship with each customer, being friendly, courteous, and responsive to their needs
- Supporting the reservation needs of all hostels within the HIC network whenever possible.
- Coordinating with marketing and operational teams within the HIC network whenever needed and possible

We want YOU if you have:

- Prior customer service experience, preferably in the tourism industry
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
- Skilled in time management and organization techniques
- A team player, friendly, and personable attitude

Working with US will include:

- Full Time position
- The starting salary range is $2125-$2200 per month
- An annual 6% vacation entitlement
- Annual HI Membership
- Eligibility for health and dental benefits, as well as our Retirement Savings Plan
