Quality Assurance Analyst
- Jonas Software - Construction Division- Markham, ON-
- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the core responsibilities of the position are to:
- Understanding requirements and creating test plans.
- Define test objectives
- Write and update test scripts
- Liaison with product developers and technical support specialists regarding product issues and quick resolution.
- . Troubleshoot SQL queries for potential performance issues and debugging.- JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- University or College educated or equivalent
- Action-oriented professional with an accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or CGA) - have or working to obtain a designation is a distinct advantage
- Minimum 2 years related experience - QA testing and/or support experience
- Prior experience with and ERP preferably Construction industry specific
- ISTQB certified or equivalent certification able to demonstrate required technical skills
- Hands on experience with relation databases, querying and troubleshooting
- Maintains composure and a positive attitude, can handle stress and doesn’t show frustration when resisted or blocked
- Good practical knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
- Strong problem solving skills
- Self-motivated and innovative team player - can take charge and drive change with good conflict management skills
- Excellent organizational skills - have the ability for timely decision making, problem solving and execution of a number of complex tasks in a deadline-oriented environment
- Demonstrate a willingness for technical learning: researching new QA techniques; self-development of technical knowledge and skills to do with the job
