**Project Coordinator**
An exciting opportunity is waiting for you at the industry’s leading Environmental Contract Services provider of **Construction Dewatering, Bypass Pumping and Discharge Water Filtration and Treatment solutions**.
The **Project Coordinator **is a member of the Dewatering Team who will use their superior communication and organizational skills, to deliver support resources to a designated Project Manager(s). This role includes reviewing project scheduling and all initial project set up details. You will work closing with the Project Manager and Operations Team in ensuring equipment requirements are filled. **Responsibilities**
- Upon contract award, complete full assessment of coordination requirements from project schedule, budget, manpower, through to equipment availability.
- Assist Project Manager with addressing customer requirements, permit and compliance requirements.
- If required or directed, attend the site to confirm final layout. If changes occur, revert to PM to assess any engineering changes.
- Coordinate locates and other site-specific requirements and health and safety submissions.
- Set up job folders on network and other software programs.
- Liaise with inventory for equipment requirements (purchasing, transfers, availability etc )
- Prepare final equipment reservations and issue delivery slips. If substitutions are required, confirm with PM and engineering substitution is in accordance with contract requirements.
- Prepare and issue vendor purchase orders as per policy.
- Collect, review for accuracy, and file all field paperwork; follow up when missing or inaccurate information is submitted
- Review timesheets to ensure they match field paperwork submissions and project budgets
- Complete well records to submit to MECP and project close out documentation.
- Support team in communication/coordination, and ensuring we meet all performance, schedule, compliance, and budget requirements.
- Prepare monthly schedule of values for invoicing purposes and work with PM in invoice review.
- Assist PM on A/R follow up.
- Support PM in quoting change orders.
- Responsible for quoting call in/walk in general rentals.
**Qualifications**
- Diploma/degree in construction, mechanical or civil engineering or related experience an asset.
- Preferably 2 plus years’ experience in a construction environment.
- Experience in pumping equipment and water treatment is an asset
- Experience in monitoring instrumentation, controls and automation is an asset
- Very organized, heightened attention to detail, and punctual to deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong on Excel) and AutoCad would be an asset
- Sporadic exposure to outdoor weather, shop and job site conditions
- Valid Ontario G Drivers License and clean abstract.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
