- One-year term, Inuvik - located in the Inuvik Regional Hospital this position you would be supporting the northern-most NWT communities within the Beaufort-Delta. This area is famous for wildlife sightings like polar bears, reindeer, muskoxen and caribou, this unique region above the tree line is simply breathtaking. Popular activities include taking a dip in the Arctic Ocean and exploring the unique landscape of the pingos. - A 3- and a 6-month term, Yellowknife - located in the state-of-the-art Stanton Territorial Hospital in the Capital City of the Northwest Territories. Yellowknife is a captivating mix of city life and untamed wilderness. Fully stocked with the essential businesses and services of a southern city, Yellowknife also embraces its quirky northern roots with colorful houseboats, world famous fish shacks and houses springing up from the rocks.
The Mammography/Medical Radiation Technologist (MMRT) is part of a small team of Radiological Technologists who provide radiological testing (x-ray) of patients. Most of the exams will be conducted on an individual basis where the MMRT works directly with the patient and is responsible for all images produced.
The MMRT participates in reviews of patients' results with the Radiologist and determines if further views are required for accurate diagnosis, as well as responsible for the continued operation of radiographic equipment. They will also provide x-ray services in the Operating Room using the C-Arm as well as portable x-ray machines.
The MMRT will also be scheduled in mammography regularly.

**Salary**: $91,494.00-$109,259.00 per year
