**Primary Purpose**

Fleming College, Toronto Programs is a public college-private partnership between Fleming College and Trebas Institute, with academic delivery and student support services managed by Trebas Institute.

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Lead the team of Student Service Officers while supervising and participating in daily Student Service operations on campus. Address and resolve all issues related to relevant stakeholders.
- Quickly gain a thorough understanding of the FCT student journey, from pre-enrolment to graduation, and various departments, policies, and processes to provide students real-time answers to their questions, and where necessary, re-direct enquiries to the appropriate stakeholders.
- In collaboration with the Student Services team, communicate and engage with students regarding important updates across the student experience and journey.
- Ensure students receive efficient resolutions to their issues/complaints in accordance with internal and external procedures.
- Closely liaise with other departments to improve internal processes, student support services, and to enhance the overall student experience.
- Deliver outstanding hands-on student service with an emphasis on student engagement and client satisfaction.
- Effectively assist in the planning and execution of Orientation, Convocation, and all student events and activities.
- Maintain current individual student files and records as necessary while following-up on incomplete documents. Assist in the interim reviews of the student files.
- Assist in the development and drafting of the Student Handbook to update changes in support services, program information and any changes or improvements in policies and procedures.
- Review and issue any relevant students documents in an effective and timely manner e.g., attendance letters, student insurance, student ID cards, deferral, and withdrawals, etc.
- When required, drafts agendas, records and transcribes meeting minutes and follows up on the progress of action items.
- Perform other student service-related duties and tasks as assigned.

**Position Requirements**
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a Student Services and/or client-based environment, preferably in a post-secondary environment.
- Experience working with international students and new immigrant populations will be considered a valuable asset.
- Proven ability to lead a team and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (additional language considered an asset).
- Multi-tasking, ability to work in a high volume and face-fast-paced environment,
- Excellent time-management skills, multi-tasking, and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Acts with ethics, accountability and integrity and demonstrates sound judgment and respect for individuals in all interactions.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
