We hire older adults that have the life experience needed to identify with the unique needs of aging individuals. Our Personal Support Workers / PSWs assist seniors with their daily care needs to improve their quality of life and help them maintain their safety and independence, whether they live at home or a retirement residence/senior care facility (there is no obligation to work at residences/senior care institutions if there are any COVID-related concerns).

We carefully match you up with clients according to their needs and your skills, experience, and preferences so you can develop meaningful connections with our seniors and their families that need and value your help.

Ideal for retired and semi-retired individuals looking to put their time towards purposeful work by helping to make a difference in the lives of seniors, while also providing loved ones much-needed respite & peace of mind.

We are currently looking to hire **part-time** caregivers that have **flexible weekday availability (weekends, evenings & overnights also available)**. If you have **PSW training (or equivalent experience)**, passionate about the health and well-being of seniors, and have a genuine desire to help seniors in need, we encourage you to apply

**Requirements**:

- PSW diploma / certificate for having completed a PSW / Health Care Aide training program (or equivalent training, i.e. DSW, RN or RPN)
- Experience providing care to seniors with Alzheimer's and other dementias
- Physically capable of assisting seniors with sitting, standing and walking
- Flexible availability on weekdays during working hours
- Strong work ethic, compassionate, reliable, punctual, good time management, efficient, attentive
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills (fluent in English)
- Vulnerable Sector Check not older than 1 year (or otherwise willing to obtain)
- Able to provide at least 2 professional references

**The following are assets but not required**:

- _Valid driver's license and own vehicle or regular access to a vehicle_
- _Evening, weekend availability and/or overnight availability_
- _Bilingual (English & French)_

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
