Systems Analyst

Cloverdale Paint is on a digital transformation roadmap to replace its legacy systems with modern solutions that will provide harmony and integration among the many functional areas within the organization.

As Systems Analyst, you will be expected to possess depth & breadth in both Business & Technology domains to perform a wide range of tasks within IT.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will work closely with IT Management and Team in the support of IT objectives to improve business outcomes, and optimize organizational and business efficiencies. The position will play a role in developing, implementing, maintaining and supporting systems based on the requirements of the business.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain internal systems according to management and business requirements. Performing maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and training as needed.
- Implement hardware and software components in both physical and virtual environments. Research, test and evaluate new technology to ensure systems remain current.
- Collaborate with IT Management and colleagues to align the company’s technology with its business strategies and goals. Assist IT management in building and implementing strategy to improve performance and security of process and systems.
- Provide data analytics and reporting support as assigned; including report & dashboard design, development and creation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and workflows. Interact with stakeholders to determine requirements, understand business priorities and review of any industry trends or practices that must be factored into solution designs. Recommend process improvements based on end user feedback.
- Track and monitor the behavior of systems and users to improve future versions of company software. Providing detailed plans for upgrades or expansions of business systems when needed
- Write manuals and guidelines to explain process and inner workings of systems. Deliver training sessions to educate users and colleagues on process and systems as required

**Qualifications**
- Diploma or degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Six years of IT experience with a minimum of three years experience as a Systems Analyst, or equivalent work experience in a comparable role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT operations
- Comprehensive experience involving wide variety of technical systems and end user support

**Experience**
- Experience with ERP business flows and best practices. Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
- Experience with databases and SQL. Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration
- Experience in writing operational policies and processes with demonstrated ability to translate technical information in a non-technical manner that can be understood by anyone.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
