**Summary**

As a Lifestyle Support Worker, you will provide essential caregiving services to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Reporting to the care team leader, your role involves assisting with daily living activities, including some personal care, meal preparation, regular housecleaning maintenance, yardwork and sometimes help with administrative tasks. Your core skills in caregiving is a bonus, but not necessary for some clients. For some, its just being a positive presence in ensuring that their lifestyle routines are not disrupted. We are not limited to what we can do. Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

We are a small team that work together in insuring that our client's needs are met. We ARE NOT AN AGENCY. We have only a select few clients mostly of whom do not need medical care or personal care, though it can be offered if the need arises. Applicants need to be comfortable with yard work, decluttering & organizing and some regular housecleaning.

This job is offering a casual position to start with the opportunity to move into p/t after 3 months or based on the clientele. It is preferred that you have a vehicle for this job. We pay you out directly every 2 weeks. Willing to train the right individual who wants to grow with the company long term.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide compassionate caregiving and support to individuals in assisted living, nursing home and in their private homes.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal hygiene as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the home and the yard when required.
- Help to declutter, organize & purge household items when requested.
- Offer specialized care for seniors and individuals with disabilities, including those with dementia or in hospice care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring the well-being of all residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor and report changes in patients' conditions.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in caregiving and patient care
- Knowledge of assisted living and senior care practices
- Familiarity with hospice care and dementia care
- Experience working with persons with disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and meal preparation
- Competence in medication administration and home care tasks
- Previous experience in nursing home settings is preferred

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 9 per week

- Weekends as needed
