Job Title: Studio Assistant

**Position Type**: Part-Time/Full-Time

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the setup and cleanup of the studio for classes and workshops.
- Provide support to instructors during art classes, particularly with clay and ceramics.
- Help prepare materials and tools needed for various artistic mediums, ensuring the studio is well-stocked and organized.
- Mentor and guide students as they explore different techniques and projects, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and safety protocols, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Participate in collaborative projects and special events, contributing your artistic insights and skills.
- Continuously seek opportunities to learn about new techniques and mediums to enhance your skill set and teaching abilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience or education in visual arts, with a strong focus on ceramics and working with clay.
- Passion for teaching and assisting others in their artistic journeys.
- Open-minded and eager to learn new techniques across various artistic mediums.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and encouraging demeanor.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
