**Assistant Manager, Operations Support**

Reporting to the Manager, Program Compliance, the Assistant Manager - Operations Support is responsible for liaising with vendors and insurance companies for discrepancies and bordereaux, ensuring resolutions are met.

**Here is what a typical day looks like**
- Building, driving and sustaining an engaged, high-performance team through employee development, performance management, coaching, succession planning and team effectiveness to drive accountability and favorable outcomes
- Leading the change management process and establish support from key stakeholders
- Modeling, leading and communicating the Guiding Principles as the foundation and principal element of Western’s culture
- Leading the Operations Support team
- Contributing to the growth of the business by acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Helping with and leading complex processes and system releases.
- Ensuring departmental adherence and compliance to all branch and company processes
- Mitigating risk to the company by regularly reviewing required reports and completing audits on processes, documentation, and correspondence
- Leading, communicating and implementing organizational initiatives, projects, guiding principles, policies, and procedures

**The value you bring**
- Level 1 General Insurance License an asset
- Previous management or leadership experience an asset
- Experience in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines Insurance
- Strong customer service skills on the phone and in person
- Excellent focus on attention to detail, planning, and prioritization

Hours: 37.5 hours/week
