**PARTS PERSON (full time)**

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Parts Person is responsible for counter sales along with shipping and receiving parts. Specific responsibilities include:

- Take parts orders from customers as required and manage parts room
- Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs
- Researching customer requests for items, provide price quotes and other information
- Explain technical product or service information to customers
- Shipping parts to customers, receiving and putting away parts from suppliers
- Manage parts room inventory levels and stock parts in parts room as required and maintaining min and max levels
- Ability to lift up to 50Ibs on a regular basis as required
- Can perform the duties of a Material Handler as required

Success in the position is supported by:

- Exceptional customer service and sales skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliability, self-initiative and the ability to multi task
- Familiarity with Truck Mounted Equipment
- Mechanical aptitude is required; experience in auto/truck body manufacturing and an understanding of hydraulics an asset.
- A positive attitude and the ability to quickly build a strong personal rapport
- Minimum 2 years applicable experience
- Prior experience with an ERP system is an asset
