JOB STATEMENT

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our organization as a Reliability Technician for Digital Inspections. In this role, you will be responsible for performing onsite field work using advanced digital tools, which include a combination non-destructive testing (NDT) and mechanical inspections to complete digital gear inspections, rapid scan shell mapping, and other services. The objective will be to ensure the highest level of technical expertise, and become certified to Metso’s Training program in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, ASME, AGMA 1010, and applicable standards as required by specific countries.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

**Technical Excellence**:
Performs and completes Digital inspections and NDT in compliance with client, industry and company standards and policies.
Technician should have an interest in digital tools and will gain experience using ECA (Eddy Current Array), UT (Ultrasonic Testing)
Ensures all equipment is setup, calibrated and functional at all times in alignment with client and company procedures.
Applies testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications for both conventional and advanced NDT methods.
Provides direction, guidance and mentorship for the continuous development of the Professional level and Trainee Technicians in compliance with industry codes, standards and procedures.
Continuous learning, training, and certification, we expect technicians to be eager to learn new techniques and participate in the development of novel inspection methods.

**Operational Efficiency**:
Prepares and completes all necessary reporting in (FSM) on a computer and mobile device required in compliance with client, industry and company standards and policies.
When working with drawings and sensitive information ensuring intellectual property is protected and controlled.

**Collaboration**:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with fellow technicians, and clients
Collaborate with field service, millwright, and client teams, to execute complex scopes.
Participate in the training development program and MOTA courses
Actively promotes and proactively models the company’s focus on safety when interacting with all current and future employees and clients.
Adhering to organizational policies and procedures, including but not limited to Metso Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Agreements.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Customer satisfaction, quality of work onsite
Time utilization on projects and training
On time reporting
Lead generation for synergies

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Industrial Experience preferred,
NDT Experience Preferred SNT or Equivalent UT, MT, ET,
Ability to network, cooperate and communicate effectively with different groups and functions
A proven track record of professional accomplishments and reliability.
Valid Drivers License
Ability to clear a background check and random drug testing
Bilingual French-English

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Preferred knowledge in mining and industrial fields (welding, metallurgy etc.)
Good communication skills, spoken and written.
Customer service and satisfaction focused
Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have all physical capabilities such as walking, sitting, proper vision, hearing, speaking, and sense of smell.
Ability to work in a variety of environments, which may include exposure to cold, heat, and humidity.
Bilingual French-English
