**Job Overview**:

- Reporting to the Executive Chef, this person will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction goals by preparing food as per the specifications, setting up stations for the menu and assisting the Executive Chef with daily tasks.

**Specific duties would include, but are not limited to**:

- Prepare food for service and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
- Responsible for opening and/or closing of the kitchen.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Stock inventory appropriately.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary Hospitality Degree or Equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years previous work experience in a similar work environment; experience in a private club an asset.
- Breakfast experience preferred.
- Food Handler Certification Required.
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work early shifts, be flexible, and handle stress.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Sanitation Standards.
- Excellent communication skills (speak, read and write).
