QUEST is hiring a **Distribution Manager** to optimize warehouse efficiency, oversee the efficient and effective receipt, storage and dispatch of products, control costs, and drive employee engagement while meeting customer and company expectations. This role requires balancing strategic initiates with day-to-day operations, fostering a culture of accountability, and maintaining compliance with safety, quality and operational standards.

**Key Accountabilities Include**
- Direct and coordinate distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of orders while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Continuously assess and optimize warehouse operations, including layout, workflow, and inventory.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop, communicate, and execute short
- and long-term operational goals.
- Plan and manage resources effectively to meet demand and minimize operational bottlenecks.
- Oversee cycle counting and inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with inventory control policies.
- Lead and motivate a team of supervisors, leads, and warehouse staff to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce including conducting daily meetings to set expectations and goals.
- Oversee staff performance management, including regular coaching, training, mentoring, and documentation of progress.
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork to instill a zero-error mentality with a continuous improvement attitude.
- Promote a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Regularly audit operational practices and systems, identifying gaps and initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance, staff productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Act as a liaison between departments, ensuring seamless coordination and communication across teams.
- Other duties as required.

**Key Qualifications Include**:

- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and ISO 9001 principles and practices.

**Education and Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution or warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, ERP software, and warehouse management systems and best practices.
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
