**Title**: Material Handler

**Reports to**: Service Manager

**Based at**: Napoleon Home Comfort, 24 Napoleon Rd, Barrie, ON

**Job Purpose**: Receive and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock coming in and out of the company. Provide customer service to customers picking up in warehouse. Maintain cleanliness of warehouse.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse
- Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal usage
- Maintain records of orders, supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory system
- Record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock
- Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
- Advise retail customer or internal user on appropriateness of parts, supplies or materials requested
- Monitor inventory levels as materials and stock are issued, transferred within the establishment, or sold to the public using the computerized inventory system
- Assist in maintenance of showroom
- Assist with setting up for home shows and events
- Maintain incoming and outgoing inventory
- Perform maintenance check on fork truck daily
- Assist with training of new associates
- Operate industrial trucks, loaders, and other warehouse equipment to transport material to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks
- Assemble and deliver BBQ’s when required

**Education and Experience**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two years warehouse experience
- Must have forklift safety license or certificate
- Must have valid G class driver’s license, with clean abstract
- Basic computer skills
