**Availability**:Hours are available Monday through Friday. From Sep 3 to Nov 6, 2024, 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. After Nov 6., contract could be extended into a full time position for working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

**Qualifications**:

- Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) English Major. TESOL and TESL Certification an asset.
- Excellent teaching approach and 3+ years successful experience teaching Ontario High School Curriculum.
- Must be familiar with the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum.
- Must have experience teaching Gr. 9 -12 English in Ontario Canada.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude, highly responsible; able to motivate and inspire students.
- Responsible and passionate about teaching.
- Able to help students with diverse educational backgrounds and learning abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a clear speaking voice.

**Qualifications**
- Valid teaching certification: Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT) Preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Ontario high school students
- Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment techniques following the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum requirements.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

**Compensation**:

- Hourly rate depending on the experience
