**What’s the role?**

As **Procurement Specialist**, you will provide professional procurement services to internal stakeholders in accordance with a commitment to organizational objectives and fiscal responsibility. This role will provide strategic guidance and expertise on purchasing and contract management while considering organizational policy and procedures, contract law and legislation and regulatory compliance through BCFSA. The **Procurement Specialist** works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support the development of procurement specifications and is responsible to oversee and manage the full cycle procurement process inclusive of a needs assessment, vendor/product research and analysis, pre-qualifications, contract administration and vendor management. In addition to the above, this position will be responsible for the maintenance and management of the ERP database and department specific policies and procedures.

**What are we looking for?**
- Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
- SCMP/MCOPS/ASCM/CPP/CPSM accreditation is a benefit

Ideally, you are a flexible, collaborative team player with:

- 5 years experience in Procurement/supply chain management/purchasing.
- Able to demonstrate up to date procurement/purchasing practices
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
- Experience working in a financial institution environment would be a benefit
- Intermediate/Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with an ERP system

**Career Band Range (Annual Salary) - $67,883.00 to $90,173.00**

The posted salary range is designed to reflect a broad career band, encompassing a variety of roles within our organization and serves as a general guideline. Your final compensation will be tailored to your unique skills, experience, and the responsibilities of the role.
