**DM Millwork is a manufacturer of custom cabinetry & architectural millwork. Our company specializes in the Industrial, Commercial, Institutional (ICI) sector & Retail Store Fixtures. We are currently recruiting for a full-time shop supervisor.**

**Position Summary**:
Working closely with our production manager this individual is responsible for planning, supervising, and assigning work to production employees, as well as hands-on participation in cabinet production.

**Managerial Functions**:

- Key holder for shop
- Open the shop, ensure tasks are lined up and machines are running prior to shift start
- End of day shut down & lock up.
- Models strong work ethic and commitment to excellence in shop environment.

**Primary Supervisory Functions**:

- Quality control lead that provides assistance wherever needed to ensure highest quality output. This includes but is not limited to loading trucks, receiving inventory, backup machinists and cabinet makers.
- Schedules, organizes and supports deliver driver, machinists, cabinet makers and shop team members to ensure that resources are well utilized.
- Assists in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures and ensures procedures are followed by shop team members.
- Inventory control lead
- Responsible for constant replenishing of standard stock inventory minimums.
- Promptly receives all packages and documents inventory in Google Keep
- Maintains organization of all shop inventory (bins, hardware, carts, stock items)

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years cabinet production experience
- Strong leadership skills and proven track record of reliability
- Receiving and inventory management skills
- Capable of lifting 50 to 75 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- English proficiency
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence
- Biesse bSolid experience would be an asset
