**Position Overview**
ABC Security is looking for a Key Account Specialist to act as the main point of contact for assigned key accounts and manage the life cycle of work orders that arise from said accounts.
The Key Account Specialist reports to the V.P. of Sales and Marketing.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Client Relations**_
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts.
- Build and maintain long-term, positive relationships with ABC Security’s clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service on behalf of ABC Security.
- Respond to all client inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- **Work Order Development**_
- Manage a high volume of work order development for assigned key accounts; manage the life cycle of work orders.
- Input work orders into ABC Security’s software, seeking clarification from clients as needed to ensure that they receive the products or services that best meet their needs.
- Use industry and product expertise to guide clients to the appropriate solution for their mechanical security requirements when necessary.
- Collaborate with various internal departments (ex. purchasing, inventory, service, etc.), to ensure that clients receive their products and services on time and within budget.
- Work with suppliers when special parts or custom solutions are required to fulfill work orders.
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout the work order process; keep clients informed of the status of their job.

- Generate reports for clients and senior leadership as required.
- Continuously improve product and industry knowledge in order to better assist clients.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
**Key Requirements**
- Knowledge of commercial door hardware, automatic door operators, hollow metal and wooden doors, electro-mechanical hardware, locks, etc.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Highly detail-oriented individual.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate in general.
**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Locksmith/ Door Hardware Technician or similar role.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous experience as a Key Account Specialist or similar role.
**Working Conditions**
- This is an in-office position (spending extended amount of time sitting at a desk, using the computer, telephone, etc.).
- ABC Security’s offices are located at 55 Queen’s Plate Drive, Etobicoke, ON M9W 6P2.
**Hours of Work**
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Overtime may be required from time to time.
**Position Type**
- Permanent
- Full Time (40 hours per week)
**Compensation**
- $60,000 to $80,000 per year (Commensurate with experience)
- Group health benefits
- 5 paid personal days per year
