**Job posting - Lift Operator**

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**
- Safely operate ski lifts in compliance with regulation and applicable policies and procedures.
- Complete daily start up and emergency checks and completes all applicable documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and instruction to all guests and members, be familiar with the club layout and products to answer inquires.
- Slow or stop the chair as necessary to ensure passenger safety.
- Maintain load and unload ramps and areas around all lift stations by raking/shoveling snow.
- Ensure all chairs are free of snow prior to loading passengers.
- Identify potential hazards and report and/or rectify them immediately.
- Be familiar with all policies and procedures regarding operating and riding a ski lift and ensuring these are being followed by all staff, members and guests.
- Be familiar with emergency procedures including contacting ski patrol.
- Assist in evacuation of a disabled lift.
- Maintain cleanliness of lift huts.
- Other duties as reasonably assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Strong interpersonal and customer services skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow direction
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high pressure, fast paced environments
- Must be minimum of 16-years old to operate lifts per legal requirements
- Ability to work in various/changing weather conditions.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks

Season: (approximately December to mid-April)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
