Kidz Kare is a one-stop resource to support parents on their journey in raising healthy, happy and knowledgeable individuals. Our services include daycare services through our Licensed Kare division, personalized daycare through our Nannie Kare division, babysitting through our Kasual Kare division and educational support and enhancement through our Edu-Kare division.

**Responsibilities**:

- Processes payrolls accurately and confidentially, ensuring compliance with laws. Reviews time inputs, calculates withholdings and deductions, reconciles deposits, and handles year-end cycles. Streamlines processes and provides documentation to Finance.
- Offers professional and confidential support to management, resolving payroll and timekeeping inquiries.
- Ensures smooth onboarding for new employees within the payroll software with accurate information flow.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of payroll systems, basic bookkeeping and payroll laws and regulations to ensure accurate payroll processing
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Working accurately with numerical data and performing complex calculations
- Attending accurately to detail under pressure of high volume to ensure accurate employee pay and compliance with legal requirements
- Setting priorities and meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and maintaining confidentiality
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Effective customer service skills for addressing queries and resolving discrepancies
- Ability to respond positively under pressure and with a sense of urgency and sensitivity
- Proficient in the use of MS Suite and technology proficiency with payroll software, spreadsheets, and databases to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
- Must be pet-friendly - comfortable around large dog

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
