**Job Overview**:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook I to join our Banquets culinary team. The Cook I will play a crucial role in the preparation and execution of culinary offerings for banquet events. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering high-quality dishes in a banquet setting.

**Responsibilities**:
Menu Execution: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established banquet menus.

Quality Control: Ensure the consistency and quality of food presentation for banquet events.

Collaboration: Work closely with Banquet Chef and culinary team to coordinate and execute banquet orders.

Efficiency: Adhere to established recipes and portion sizes to meet banquet requirements.

Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Adaptability: Adjust cooking techniques and quantities based on banquet size and specific requirements.

Timing: Coordinate with the banquet service team to ensure timely and synchronized delivery of dishes.

Flexibility: Assist in other kitchen areas as needed during non-banquet periods.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience for 4 years as a Cook I or in a similar role, preferably in a banquet setting.

Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.

Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.

Lift and carry heavy trays of ingredients and equipment.

Ability to bend, stoop, and move quickly in a kitchen environment.
