Axiom shares and meets the higher standards of its clients and lawyers, with our "work smarter, adapt faster, go further" approach - connecting growing mid-market and Fortune 500 companies with the world's deepest bench of experienced, specialized legal talent. **About the role**:Axiom is hiring for a highly motivated, thoughtful Talent Success Manager, to support Axiom's talent experience for our ever-growing population of legal talent. A critical member of our wider commercial team, the Talent Success team member will guide Axiom legal talent throughout their Axiom experience, ensuring lawyer skills are matched to exciting client opportunities. Focusing on a group of lawyers and legal professionals across one practice area, the Talent Success Team member will have the engagement of their cohort at front of mind at all times. They will strategically partner cross-functionally with our Talent Acquisition and Sales team, providing advice and guidance to ensure we are hiring the right legal talent population to meet the demand from Axiom's clients, and presenting opportunities to our legal talent to ensure they have career enhancing opportunities available to them. An opportunity to be part of an exciting and innovative team driving change within Axiom and the wider legal community. **The Talent Success Manager will**: - Serve as primary partner for a group of ~50-75 legal professionals in defined legal practice area(s) to provide next-level Axiom client and Axiom Legal Talent experience. - Accountable for the management of all legal professionals, from hire through retire, providing a best-in-class lawyer and client experience. - Accountable for delivery against client requests for Talent, including the identification of relevant Talent, liaising with the Sales team and Client to ensure match, and successfully closing each engagement in tandem with Sales team. - Manage client expectations and working with internal cross functional teams to meet desired end in mind results and ensure targets are achieved. - Develop a deep understanding of successful Client and Talent management and continue to develop sales and talent management skill-set to ensure success. - Identify legal talent to fulfill client opportunities within their practice area, working directly with the Sales team and clients as appropriate to drive and win deals, with a direct contribution to company revenue and growth. - Develop a deep understanding of the skills, practice areas and industry experience across their specific legal practice area, including being an authority on the state of the legal market and the practice area. - Strategically focus on retention of our legal talent, conducting regular check-ins with legal professionals to gauge engagement levels, including those who are not currently on client engagement. - Providing a single point of contact for our legal talent and working with them to solve issues as they arise. - Ensure our legal talent are fully utilized by working with the talent directly and understanding their drivers and definition of a successful Axiom career. - Keep current and proactively use information in Axiom systems at all stages of the process including managing situations when our lawyers are finishing a client engagement, enabling them to have new opportunities presented to them in advance. - Meet key Talent Success metrics to include retention, utilization, win rates, and conversion rate targets. **Qualifications & Experience**: - 4 + years of experience within a professional services firm, law firm, recruitment agency, or corporate in-house environment - Highly persuasive verbal communication skills, strong written communication skills - Ability to provide a high-quality experience for our talent, working with them to understand their preferences, find opportunities that are a strong experience fit - Deep sense of urgency, pace and drive to ensure matching of our legal talent with the right client opportunities - Poise, confidence, and maturity to interact with senior level, highly experienced attorneys and/or clients, and leaders in the Sales and Talent Acquisition teams. - Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop others - Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills - Highly organized and able to operate in a high pressure, fast-paced environment - Legally eli
