**MANAGER OF FINANCE, DATA AND PERFORMANCE**
Choices for Change Alcohol, Drug & Gambling Counselling Centre (CFC) and Resilience Huron Perth Mental Health (RHP), are in the process of an integration of the two organizations. Once integrated, the organization will provide community based mental health and addiction services to the communities of Huron Perth and area. Services include, but are not limited to, mental health and addiction case management, counselling, peer support, housing and court support/release from custody. We are currently in the process of recruitment for the leadership team to support the approximately 100 employees to continue to provide quality addiction and mental health services to the community.
**POSTION SUMMARY**
Under the supervision of the Director of Corporate Services, manages all aspects of the accounting and payroll functions for the organization including system upgrades and maintenance, accounts receivables, accounts payable, program budget analysis, funding allocations and reconciliations, managing cashflow and every aspect of the payroll process ensuring proper employee compensation and associated benefits and entitlements. In collaboration with contracted information technology services, ensures that all telephone and computer systems, fixed and mobile, voice mail system and internet is adequate and well maintained. The incumbent will ensure that there are adequate processes and systems in place to collect financial, statistical and clinical data to the extent needed so the organization is able to make well informed decisions and to meet the reporting requirements as required by funders, legislation and to meet professional standards. Ensures compliance with all federal, provincial and municipal regulations and reporting requirements for financial and statistical data.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**EDUCATION**:Graduate ofa recognized professional accounting program (C.M.A., C.G.A.) and anapplicable university degree/college diploma (Commerce, Business Administration), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
**RELATED EXPERIENCE**: Two-three (2-3) years of progressive experience in an accounting position. Possess the judgement skills to work independently. Experience in non-profit or public sector, and payroll systems and benefit management are considered an asset**.**
Other necessary skills include, building teams, decision-making and problem solving, good communication skills and analytical skills. In addition, the incumbent will demonstrate integrity and ethics, good coping skills, flexibility and commitment to the work.
**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensures that there are adequate processes and systems in place to collect financial, statistical and clinical data to the extent needed so the organization is able to make well informed decisions and to meet the reporting requirements as required by funders, legislation and to meet professional standards.
- Administration of payroll and benefits including preparation of bi-weekly payroll, and any additional adjustments as required.
- Assists with financial planning and control including development and implementation of annual budget for approval by the CEO, Board of Directors and funding bodies.
- Maintain all agency leases and contracts
- Ensure appropriate facility insurance to maintain agency operations
- In collaboration with the Manager of Housing, maintains accurate and updated files for the housing program as well as timely preparation and reporting for key activities to the Ministry.
- Ensures compliance with legislation, Corporations Act, ethical fundraising, annual returns, financial reconciliation and other financial expectations of funding bodies.
- Manages system processes on an annual basis including planning payroll and financial system validations, upgrades, new year set up and year end closing so the integrity of the data is maintained by way of proper structure as well as access restrictions.
- Oversees that all telephone and computer systems, fixed and mobile, voice mail system and internet is adequate and well maintained.
- Coaches and mentors staff based on the code of conduct, strategic directives, ethics, values and management limitations developed by the organization.
- Ensuring that all activities are carried out according to legislated, recognized professional and provincial health reporting standards and agency policies.
**Salary range: $75,662-$85,520**
