Dreadlock Specialist

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform a wide range of dreadlock and loc services, including:

- Loc maintenance (retwisting, interlocking, palm-rolling)
- Loc repair and reconstruction
- Loc extensions (human hair and synthetic)
- Starting new locs (comb coils, two-strand twists, braids)
- Washing, conditioning, and scalp treatments
- Styling locs
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their hair history, desired style, and maintenance routine.
- Provide professional recommendations and aftercare advice to clients.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation and tools in accordance with salon and provincial regulations.
- Manage appointments and client records accurately.
- Contribute to a positive and professional salon environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in loc care.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Dreadlock Specialist. A strong portfolio of work is a plus.
- Knowledge of various hair textures, especially natural and textured hair.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable, and professional.
