**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Supervise and train staff on customer service best practices, sales techniques, and operational procedures.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing.
- Conduct employee orientation and training sessions to foster team development.
- Handle payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks accurately.
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote store initiatives and drive sales.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with recruiting efforts by conducting interviews and onboarding new employees.
- Utilize POS systems for cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in retail management or as an Assistant Manager.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficient in retail math, inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
- Experience with cash handling procedures and financial management practices.
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management abilities.
- Familiarity with administrative tasks related to store operations.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations is preferred but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
