**About this opportunity**:
Cenovus is currently looking for a **Well Analyst**to join their Well Asset Management Team based in our Calgary office.

**What you’ll do**:

- Submit required drilling, completion, and abandonment (downhole/surface) information, including frac data and logs, to the regulator in all provinces Cenovus operates.
- Complete well status changes (e.g., start-up, suspensions) in all provinces Cenovus operates.
- Receive reclamation certificates, record them in the well management system, and update well file status in the Land system.
- Update and maintain the digital Well File and accurately record lifecycle changes in the well management database.
- Track jobs, prioritize submission deadlines using the tracking tool, and ensure submissions are completed on time.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships to secure timely well activity information for regulatory submissions.

**Who you are**:

- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Certification in Petroleum Land or technical training in well related focus is preferred
- Knowledge and 2+ years’ experience in downhole reporting and well licensing activities, or a combination of experience in both.
- Understanding of the Oil & Gas regulatory Directives, Manuals and Guidelines in Western Canada
- Ability to analyze downhole and information and licensing requirements and understand how the regulatory body requires the information to be submitted
- Experience with land and public data systems (Accumap, Abadata, Wellview, CS Land/LandView, Stack, SAP, Generwell, Petrinex, IRIS, Onestop, DDS)
