**SUMMARY**
The Project Scheduler & Controller is responsible for the master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of operations and project cost controls support that includes cost tracking and capturing information from site and inputting into progressing tracker.
**JOB DUTIES**
- Provide, monitor, update, and issue a resource loaded schedule, reflecting requirements of the project within the scope of work.
- Ensure Project Manager is informed of the current project status by identifying critical areas and potential deviations from the schedule.
- Monitor long dead delivery items to suit the fabrication and construction programs.
- Advise of progress achieved and identify any adverse trends in progress and hours expedited on project.
- Monitor and report costs, schedule development, and progress
- Monitor trends and changes to progress against contract schedules
- Contribute to the development of various financial, productivity, and scheduling analysis and forecasts as required
- Capture cost information on project site and inputting into progress tracker.
- Manage the code of accounts in conjunction with the planning department, and engineering/construction departments on all coded documents included timesheets, purchase orders, and invoices
- Other tasks as assigned by management
**QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS**
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Cost Controls and Planning/Scheduling on a major project environment
- Bachelors in Engineering, or equivalent combinations of training and related experience
- Proficient working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of resource monitoring techniques
- Strong communication and organizational skills
**Conditions**
This role requires the person to be on-site to manage the project controls with a rotation schedule of 5 days on / 2 days off. The person will work in Camrose, Alberta in a field and office environment.

Pay: $48.52-$61.94 per hour
