As a Product Manager for our Farm King Division you will be responsible for product planning and marketing, with a focus on leading the full product life cycle. This position requires liaising with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Production, Service, Service Parts, as well as our equipment dealers and end users to ensure company goals and customer requirements are met. We are looking for an ambitious person who will bring great energy to the role.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Managing the full product life cycle through the concept, specification, design, launch and maintenance phases
- Assess the market and specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting research through on-going visits with dealers and end users of the product
- Develop, implement and execute product marketing plans
- Define strategic planning and customer targets
- Work closely with Engineering to define product release requirements and modifications
- Complete regular competitive product and price comparisons
- Predict costs and prices for future products ensuring their profitability
- Analyze and prioritize requests for product improvements
- Determine industry trends and forecast accordingly to ensure that the strategic goals of the company are met
- Develop product training materials
- Research ways to develop new markets
- Travel to dealers and attend farm shows

**Qualifications**:

- Post -secondary education in Project Management is preferred
- Two to three years ‘ experience as a Product Manager or similar role is a sales and/or marketing capacity with project management experience or training. Management
- Experience with agricultural equipment is a definite asset
- The ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams on a regular basis is required
- Strong product and project management skills
- A good knowledge base with mechanical systems is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of computers and software, such as Microsoft Office products
- Ability to travel as needed
