Child and Youth Counsellor

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Provide individual counseling sessions to youth, addressing emotional and behavioral issues.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans based on the specific needs of each child.
- Conduct data collection and maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and progress.
- Collaborate with parents and other providers to ensure comprehensive support for each child.
- Support children with special needs through tailored counseling strategies.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all youth participants.
**Qualifications**
- Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with youth and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong organizational skills for managing case files and documentation effectively.
- A genuine passion for supporting the development of children and adolescents through counseling services.
This position requires dedication to fostering positive relationships with youth while promoting their overall well-being through effective counseling practices.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.5 per week
