All duties are carried out under the direction of the client - Duties may include: sweep, mop, vacuum/wash floors, empty trash, clean multiple surfaces, dusting, laundry, wash dishes, make beds/change linens and other related duties **as requested by client**: - Be part of the SEIU union **WHAT YOU’LL BRING**: - Takes pride in their work and enjoys cleaning - A friendly, professional & energetic personality and have a passion for improving the lives of others - Manages time in co-operation with clients to complete tasks - Ability to accept direction from client's regarding services - Ability to communication in a clear & concise manner - Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution and judgment skills - Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with others - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 computer skills (Outlook, Word) **WHAT HOURS YOU’LL WORK**: - Monday: 8:30am - 3:30pm - Tuesday: 8am - 3pm - Wednesday: 8am - 1pm - Thursday: 8am -4pm - Friday: 8am - 1pm - Saturday: OFF - Sunday: OFF **HOW TO QUALIFY**: - Grade Twelve or recognized equivalent - Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required - Previous experience working with people with disabilities would be considered an asset - Proof of First Aid and CPR certificate - Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Person) If you thrive in an independent work environment and are interested in "**_Making a Difference" _**in our client's lives - then this role is for you
